Positive Pay

Positive Pay provides one of the best ways for business owners to protect their accounts from losses due to check fraud. Checks presented for payment are compared to issue information provided by the company to the bank. The company receives information about exception items before payment is released.

How it works: Each day you transmit check issuance information to American Bank of Texas through Online Cash Management. The bank verifies the serial numbers and dollar amounts of checks as they are presented for payment. Any checks that do not match your issue information will be sent to you in a Positive Pay Exception Report. You review the Exception Report and indicate whether each item should be paid or returned.

Lockbox allows you to speed up collection time and reduce the cost of your accounts receivables. Payments are sent to a special post office box set up for your company. American Bank of Texas collects the payments from the post office and then processes and deposits the receipts to your account. You receive images of checks, invoices, envelopes and other correspondence.
