Payroll Direct Deposit
Payroll is processed and deposited into employee accounts bi-weekly (every other Thursday). There are 26 pay periods per year.
Banking Products and Services
All employees may receive two free personal, non-interest bearing checking accounts, one savings account, and one health savings account. (To open a health savings account, employees must have qualifying health insurance coverage.) Personal checks, Cashier's checks, Internet Banking and Bill Pay up to 15 items per month, and a safe deposit box are also provided free of charge.
Group Health Insurance
Group health coverage is provided for full-time employees through Aetna. Employees may elect to provide coverage for their dependents by paying a monthly premium. Employees are eligible for coverage on the first day of the month, following thirty days of employment. Dental and vision insurance is available on a voluntary basis. More detailed information will be provided at the benefits enrollment meeting.
401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
Employees may defer between 1% and 60% of compensation to the annual maximum established by the IRS each year. ABTexas will match 50% of the employee contribution up to a maximum contribution of 6%. Full-time and part-time employees may participate after completing three months of service. However, you may rollover funds from other qualified plans immediately upon employment.
Full-time employees with five years of service or more are entitled to three weeks paid vacation each calendar year. Full-time employees with less than five years of service are entitled to two weeks of vacation, and new employees, who join the company prior to June 30th, will receive one week of vacation to be taken prior to December 31st of that year. Part-time employees receive the equivalent of two weeks paid vacation based upon the average number of hours worked.
After thirty days of employment, full-time employees accrue .8333 days per month up to a maximum of ten days per year. If necessary, two days may be used for personal business. At the end of the year, any unused sick days will roll over to the next calendar year; employees may accumulate a maximum of ninety days of sick leave.
Full-time employees automatically receive life insurance with a benefit of two times their annual salary, up to a maximum of $300,000. The Bank provides this benefit at no cost to the employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following thirty days of employment. Additional voluntary life insurance is also available for employees and their dependents.
Long Term Disability
Full-time employees automatically receive long term disability insurance. The Bank provides this benefit at no cost to the employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following thirty days of employment.
Eagle Health Wellness Program
All employees are eligible to receive incentives by participating in the Bank's voluntary wellness program. More information will be provided to you during the orientation process.
